ABSTRACT
The rotary washing line can be set up before the students enter or they can be involved in the decision making during the set-up. This chapter provides information on equipment needed and instructions for creating the rotary washing line. It discusses the ways to make use of the rotary washing line. Students can be involved in making this environment by simple activities like selecting the clothes, ribbons and other materials to hang from the lines; and more complex activities, like plaiting different coloured ribbons or strips of cloth together to hang from the lines. The chapter presents an example of how this environment has been used.
