ABSTRACT

The bomb site-World War II environment is very suitable for involving the students in helping to set it up. This chapter provides information on equipment needed and instructions for creating the bomb site-World War II environment. It discusses the ways to make use of the bomb site. The environment makes an ideal setting for finding out more about the effect of bombing on London or Cologne or anywhere else that has experienced that sort of warfare. The chapter presents an example of how the environment has been used. This environment was used as a setting in which school groups visiting the imperial war museum could interact with World War II artefacts.
