ABSTRACT
Walt Disney is one of the most recognized names in the world. In an interview with the Journal of the California Teachers Association in 1955, Walt Disney shared his story of the teacher who encouraged and motivated him to follow his dreams. Walt Disney is describing a teacher who was innovative in her teaching. Because of the influence of a motivated teacher, Walt Disney later became one of the greatest innovative and creative entrepreneurs in history. Motivation has been a topic of discussion and research in the corporate world for decades. Motivated Teachers are change agents who seek to innovate, inspire, and bring out the best in all students. Motivation is the internal and external factors that stimulate desire and energy in people to be continually interested and committed to a job, role, or subject, or to make an effort to attain a goal.
