Between framing and “being framed”: return of disseminator’s subject consciousness
What influence and role does the journalistic concept play in the process of news dissemination which transforms the world of facts to the world of news symbols? The “news frame” provides an appropriate research domain for us to answer this question. Focusing on the ontological level and starting from the basic point of the subject, this book comprehensively explores the news frame and its construction mechanism of the disseminator through the contradictory relationship of initiative-structure.
