ABSTRACT
Two-dimensional planar arches are studied as a means of creating vast interior expanses of space. Traditional three-hinged arches are investigated, as well as more complicated, multi-bay arch structures. External equilibrating reactions, as well as internal equilibrating moments, are found using the Modern Müller-Breslau Method. This chapter closes with several études for deeper study and practice.
