ABSTRACT

The project activities section is the nuts and bolts part of the grant application that gives the teacher a chance to show they have really thought out how they will implement the grant. The following questions are examples of how different applications might request this information: How long will the program last? Describe sequentially what the students will do during the project and methods for achieving objectives. It may seem onerous to include so much advance planning in the application, especially because teacher don't even know if they are going to get the funding to make the project possible. Careful planning now, though, will pay off later if they are fortunate enough to get a grant award. Be sure their activities start after the grant awards are announced. Knowing how long it often is between an application deadline and the grant award notification, not to mention the additional time it takes to actually receive the funds.
