ABSTRACT

The evaluation plan shows how teachers will measure the outcomes of the grant activities. They already outlined their project's objectives; now teacher need to show their plan to assess how well they meet them. The evaluation plan doesn't always have to include hard data like test scores; it can also use anecdotes, student quotes, opinion surveys, etc. Here's a description of a quick random sample survey of our school's student body that was taken after a 4th grade science opera that was produced during a grant-funded arts in education residency with Michigan Opera Theatre. Proposed field trip will directly benefit all our students by showing them many different kinds of sea life and teaching them about their habitats. The trip will also serve as a valuable introduction to a new attraction in our community. This is especially important for the 50% of our students who are English language learners and who typically live in very small worlds.
