ABSTRACT
In the last chapter, we looked at the variety of advantages that peer interaction provides to learners and why teachers should consider incorporating it into their classrooms. In this chapter, we’ll show how peer interaction addresses a key part of our role as language teachers, namely supporting language learning. Peer interaction not only provides learners with opportunities to practice what they’ve already learned, but also to actually learn language as they interact.
