ABSTRACT

Many people have great intentions, which are easy to talk about and put into mission or vision statements or strategic papers, but without work they remain just dreams and aspirations. Work is the process by which an idea generated by a person becomes evident in the external world and open to recognition. Work is usually done in the form of tasks that can vary in terms of complexity and length of time and effort required. In the school context where time is so precious, we have seen considerable amounts of time and effort wasted because of a lack of clarity. Work is essential to psychological well-being as it is the means by which demonstrate that can be productive and make a difference in the world. Systems Leadership includes a model that describes work in any organisation or role in three domains. They are the Technical Domain, the Commercial Domain and the Social Domain.
