ABSTRACT
Lithuanian onomatopoeic words are a reflection of sounds perceived by humans that are associated with various actions, phenomena and animals. Onomatopoeic words can be freely invented in a situation. They are used as single words, repeated twice or more times, and their constituent sounds or their combinations can be modified.
