ABSTRACT
This chapter presents power analyses for ANOVA or Linear Mixed Models (LMM) with both between and within-subjects factors and Multivariate ANOVA (MANOVA). MANOVA address designs with multiple dependent measures and at least one factor. This chapter examines power for models with one between and one within subject factor, one-factor MANOVA, and discusses how different patterns of effect sizes and correlations in MANOVA influence power. For each analysis, the chapter presents examples using R functions from the pwr2ppl package.
