ABSTRACT

Chapter 13 presents the basic characteristics of contemporary interventions for ADHD in adults. Each one is evaluated on the basis of the most recent empirical evidence. Pharmacotherapies and cognitive-behavioral interventions are thoroughly reviewed. Our aim is to provide clinicians with the core principles supporting the implementation of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy in adults with ADHD. We also cover the research available relevant to coaching and specific interventions designed for college and university students with ADHD.
