ABSTRACT

This chapter provides information and instruction for how to use technology in face-to-face classrooms, virtual classrooms, and hybrid class constellations. Learning and teaching has transformed in the past decades in respect to delivery setting and medium. No longer is a face-to-face learning environment the only means by which counseling students seek education. Online teaching and learning has become more popular and convenient for students. Learners have the opportunity to interact with peers and share experiences and meaningful online online collaborations can improve knowledge retention and social learning skills. For instructors, facilitating active engagement in discussion forums can be a daunting task. Cyber civility is a necessary component of successful engagement in discussion forums. In some instances, meaningful online discussions run fairly autonomously, and learners take control of moving the discussion forward. Is an interactive whiteboard that can be screen-casted to students.
