ABSTRACT
The activities in this chapter offer opportunities for pupils to use specialist vocabulary in communicating their knowledge and understanding about pilgrimages, worship and rituals in religion. They consider the meaning of a range of forms of religious expression, understand why they are important in religion and recognise similarities and differences between them, where appropriate. Pupils learn to articulate clearly and coherently their personal beliefs, thoughts, values and experiences while respecting the right of others to differ.
