ABSTRACT

Getting an interview is a big step. The day of the interview review the notes students made when they initially researched the company. Check online for any additional news about the company or the people who work there. Also check for any important news about the area of the entertainment field that the company they will be interviewing with is in. The first is the traditional interview with the person who does the hiring. Group interviews are interesting and present some very important psychological dynamics. There are generally four or five intern candidates and one interviewer. Each candidate starts by saying something about themselves. The interviewer may ask each candidate the same question in a sort of round-robin fashion. An internship student of mine once interviewed for a position with one of the top stations in the Los Angeles market on the number one show in the city. To make it even better, it was a paid internship.
