ABSTRACT

Nonparametric statistics are frequently used in the social sciences to examine the differences or associations for nominal and ordinal level data. You may notice that the number of elements you should include in the report of your study is often considerably less than what is required when you write up the results of parametric tests. However, especially in the case of chi-square tests, the text of a results section is very often accompanied by a table. We have provided examples of how to integrate both text and tables in this chapter.
