ABSTRACT

This chapter presents the results of this study concerning the development of agreement features on adjectives. Two agreement features are investigated (gender and number), and each feature has two possible values (masculine and feminine, singular and plural); therefore, there are four possible agreement combinations on the adjective (masculine singular, masculine plural, feminine singular, and feminine plural). The results for each participant are shown first, followed by results for the whole group combined. According to PT, agreement on N aAdj is processable at stage 3, and agreement on N pAdj is processable at stage 4. Therefore, one would expect more development in terms of agreement combinations on the first type than on the second.
