It also suggests that students consider engaging in collaborative professional development with their colleagues through participation in a school-wide professional learning community (PLC). The Appolicious and Chalkable sites include recommendations by teacher members of the site in terms of the relevancy of apps for use in the classroom. The Digital Media and Learning Central (DML) site includes current methods and ideas related to uses of different digital tools and media, particularly in terms of literacy practices and critical inquiry methods. There are also a number of different professional development podcasts on uses of mobile devices and apps, as well as uses of technology. One can also attend face-to-face or access online conferences or local Google in Education Summits or EdCamps related to technology integration.
