ABSTRACT
We start this introductory chapter by showing an example of a leadership story with some introductory analytical comments. Then we move on to unpack notions of leadership and highlight the crucial role of narratives in leadership (research and practice), before providing information on the data that will be used in the course of the book. We end this chapter by giving a brief outline of the rest of the book.
