Instructions for Authors
East European Jewish Affairs is a refereed journal. Articles submitted to the journal should be original contributions and should not be under consideration for any other publication at the same time. If another version of the article is under consideration by another publication, or has been, or will be published elsewhere, authors should clearly indicate this at the time of submission. There is no standard length for article but 10-11,000 words (including notes and references) is a useful target. Details of the author's institutional affiliation and full postal and email addresses should be included on a separate page, along with any acknowledgements and a note of the total word count of the article. An abstract of approximately 150-200 words should be included, along with a short biographical note to appear at the end of the article.
Electronic Submission. Authors should send submissions as an electronic file (no hard copy is necessary) to the Managing Editor, Dr Sam Johnson. Email: s.johnson@mmu.ac.uk Electronic material should be in PC compatible MS Word format. Endnotes should be used rather than footnotes.

Please use UK spelling (e.g. colour, organise). Use double quotation marks with single within if needed.
This journal requires a short paragraph of biographical details for all contributors.

Proofs will be emailed to the authors for correction, and should be returned to the publisher within three days of receipt. Major alterations to the text at this stage will not be accepted.
Corresponding authors will receive free online access to their article through our website and a complimentary copy of the issue containing their article. Reprints of articles published in this journal can be purchased through Rightslink® when proofs are received or alternatively on our journals website.
