ABSTRACT
Inspection and testing of electrical installations are dealt with in Part 7 of the IEE Regulations.
Chapter 71, Regulation 711-01-01 states that ‘Every installation shall, during erection and/or on completion and before being put into service, be inspected and tested to verify, as far as is reasonably practicable, that the requirements of the Regulations have been met’.
