ABSTRACT
Safeguarding the academic standards and quality of tourism education institutions is reliant not only on high calibre and innovative teaching but also on rigorous and reliable processes and procedures. Institutions are responsible for managing and enhancing the teaching and learning environment through commitment to procedure which are designed to help achieve the institution's curriculum development, teaching and learning and evaluation strategies. These procedures also provide the information needed to ensure that the quality of the students’ learning experience is monitored and enhanced.
