ABSTRACT
They are useful as design documents and as historical documents that show the way a process works. They can be revisited if a process needs to be developed. Flow charts consist of actions which appear in rectangular boxes and yes and no decisions which appear in diamond-shaped boxes (though there are other symbols you can use). They are connected by flow lines.
