ABSTRACT

Up to now, this book has consisted of a description of the Ten-Step Plan and its application to the specific circumstances of students faced with the task of carrying out an effective fieldwork project. The starting point was that the fieldwork project could be regarded as a consultancy project and that students can apply the principles of organizational consultancy work to achieve success in their fieldwork projects. This focus on the fieldwork project unavoidably brings a degree of simplification to the real-life situation from which the TSP was developed. Anyone using the TSP in practice for organizational consultancy work will need to be familiar with many other variations and be able to cope with alternatives.
