ABSTRACT
It is important that the bricklayer should understand the causes of dampness and the methods of damp prevention in the construction of a brick wall. Dampness may occur even after precautions have been taken, if precautions are based on insufficient knowledge resulting in lack of care in the application of damp prevention.
