ABSTRACT
9.1 The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (the COSHH Regulations) were first introduced in 1988 but have been amended and changed many times since. The present COSHH Regulations came into operation in 2002 but have been subject to subsequent amendments, with the introduction of workplace exposure limits (Regulation 7) being the most notable change.
