ABSTRACT

The Internet is the true universal distribution platform of our time. Using it, we can deliver our simulation to any user anywhere, without worrying about whether the user has the right disk, the right hardware, the right operating system, or whether the user can connect to an intranet, extranet, or area network. As long as the user has an Internet-enabled connection, we can reach him or her. While that used to mean the user needed a desktop PC or Mac, we can now count on reaching any user with access to a notebook computer, a handheld PC, a cellphone, an Xbox 360, a Windows MediaCenter, or an Internet Protocol television set.
