ABSTRACT

In this second part of the book, we consider each leadership style in much more detail and with some in-depth examples of each style being applied in practice. It is important to register that, in doing this, a new leadership model is being retrospectively applied to these case studies, with the not surprising result that some of the well-known companies cited do not comply with all of the recommended facets of the model. As our value-creating leadership activities framework has the visioning activity at its centre, it is logical to commence this more detailed consideration with the inspirational leadership style.
