ABSTRACT
If you are serious about being a television writer, you need to get going on it yesterday. I often come across wannabe writers who talk ad nauseam about their plans for breaking into the industry. They are always going to do it after they save some money, or after they live at home for the summer, or after their cat dies, or after a whole laundry list of other things. Life has a way of marching by. Five years whiz by in the blink of an eye, and some of these same so-called writers are still talking about getting into the industry.
