ABSTRACT
Most of the hand-coated techniques described in this book require a negative transparency to be made and placed in contact with a light-sensitive coating, and then that combination is exposed to light. The negative is removed, and the exposed emulsion is processed, yielding a final positive image the same size as the negative. Therefore, negatives from your handheld camera used in this way probably will make an image too small for your needs.
