Domestic Garage Doors

Garage doors are much the same in their construction as some exterior house doors (see Chapter 4). The main door openings are of course wider, and doors are therefore hung in pairs, unless a one-piece door is used, in which case it would be of the ‘up-and-over’ type or made to slide. (Large sliding and folding-leaf doors are outside the scope of this book.) See Work Activities – by Brian Porter & Reg Rose Chapter 6. Table 5.1 shows common sizes that are available.
