ACTING AND DOING Drama is the artful presentation of fictional characters, their conflicts, and their struggles, and its themes are derived from human truths made visible because of pressures in real life. Conventional education, stressing the intellectual, is a woeful preparation because it suggests that you become competent by learning something theoretically, and then demonstrate what you know.
