ABSTRACT
The most important part of implementing any programme of waste reduction is to gain the commitment of both senior management and all staff.
Commitment from senior management will support any need for using time, and possibly the need for capital investment, where this proves essential. Staff commitment will reduce any potential barriers that may lie in the way of programme success.
