Short breaks, special interest holidays, theme parks, holiday centres, accommodation and theatre reservations

Short breaks It has been said that short breaks is the fastest growing sector of the travel industry. Why? There are several factors that have brought about these changes to our holiday travel:

Pressure of work – many people feel a full week or two or three weeks is too long to be away from the workplace

Low-cost airline flights makes travelling further afield for shorter periods of time financially viable

Family commitments make only short trips possible (animals to look after; children or grandma)

Greater choice of destinations and accommodation available Many new and interesting or exciting activities on offer Some holidaymakers feel several short breaks each year benefit them more than

one long holiday, and can help to break up a long winter. Short breaks during halfterm school holidays are ideal for families to get away.
