ABSTRACT
The T. Rowe Price web site is the online home of T. Rowe Price, an investment management firm headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. This site offers extensive information to help investors learn about and invest in mutual funds, as well as information about other financial products, such as 401(k)s, IRAs, and Tax-Advantaged College Savings Plans. The first generation T. Rowe Price site was launched in the early days of the World Wide Web, in 1996. In recent years, the site has been substantially revised. The second generation of the T. Rowe Price site was created in-house by T. Rowe Price Internet Services, with additional content created by members of T. Rowe Price’s Shareholder Communications Group. The current generation of the T. Rowe Price site allows customization in many ways both big and small. In the site revision, T. Rowe Price responded by gathering all the mutual fund information into one location.
