ABSTRACT
Following the amendment of the Act by the Duration of Copyright and Rights in Performance Regulations 1995 (SI 1995 No 3297) which came into force on 1 January 1996, the duration of copyright in each category of work can be summarized as follows:
1 Literary, dramatic, musical and artistic – which includes architectural works: 70 years from the end of the calender year in which the author died.
