ABSTRACT
Electronic control systems are found almost everywhere, from controlling the ignition system of a car to the control of rush-hour traffic on the motorways. Electronics controls everything from the drilling machine on the factory floor to the coffee-making machine in the boardroom. Electronics controls everything from the fan-heater in the living-room to the power station that generates the electricity it uses.
