for programmer. Macromedia provides content development kits (CDKs) for the devices that the developer can target. Step one in creating any content is first to be aware of the target platform, then to download the appropriate CDK, if a template is not already available. Flash MX 2004 Professional comes with several templates already installed and ready to be used. To use an existing template simply use ‘File/New…’ then click the ‘Templates’ tab in the dialog box that opens. A list of the available templates is shown under the ‘Mobile Devices’ option in the list box. Figure 6.2 shows the dialog box being used to create a template for a DoCoMo device.
