Marketing and Advertising Strategies
To become and remain ﬁnancially successful, every hospitality industrybased business must have effective marketing strategies and programs. In this chapter we discuss the similarities and differences between service-and product-based marketing. We will examine the traditional marketing concepts and terms; along with samples of target advertising created speciﬁcally for the leisure and group markets. Finally, we will identify current advertising trends and consider where future growth opportunities may exist.
