ABSTRACT

I have already mentioned several times why I believe HR strategy does not generally happen. If this contention is valid then CEOs will have no experience of what an HR strategy looks like. If they had, they would not need convincing that it works. So the first challenge for the HR strategist is to be able to demonstrate that HR strategy will add value in order to get the CEO’s complete commitment. So we now need to look at specific tools and techniques that make this possible.
