ABSTRACT
When selecting a QI tool, select the tool that will make your point at a glance.
This very brief chapter is a doorway to information on the tools of quality relevant to the practice of architecture. My previous book TQM and ISO 9000 for Architects and Designers contained an extensive chapter describing 90 quality tools, techniques and systems, drawn from a number of sources, with examples of how they are used in design practice. That list and the examples provided are still relevant. Even in a chaotic world, some things don’t change.
