In offices and many other workplaces, windows will provide enough ventilation. Alternatively, air conditioning systems may be installed.
Many of the requirements in these regulations appear to be ‘common sense’, and it is probably true to say that most workplaces are properly ventilated, heated and so on. Nevertheless, employers must obey the law.
