In this chapter we concentrate on the details of setting up the tasks, milestones, and schedule. We assume that we have the project concept nailed down so that the general purpose, scope, and roles are defined. Some potential issues have also been identified. Beginning with a static view of the project in terms of defining tasks, resources, dependencies, and graphs and charts, we will move to schedulingthe dynamic part of the work. Scheduling is the process whereby we attempt to fix when tasks will be done and when and how many and which specific resources are required for these tasks.
