Creating a ‘change-able’ organization
To change successfully, organizations should stop changing all the time. (Abrahamson, 2000)
Successful change is not only a question of implementing change projects successfully. A more sustainable approach to change is to equip the organization for ongoing change through the development of a ‘change-able’ culture. In this chapter we will explore what is involved in creating a culture that is ‘dynamically stable’, that has the basis of innovation, flexibility and changeability built in to structures, systems, processes and mindsets.
