This chapter gives a brief overview of a common use of ROI for evaluating change within a corporation or organization. The model reviewed and utilized for this chapter is adopted from Jack Phillips (Phillips, Stone, and Phillips, 2001). The Phillip’s model is widely used in both the private and the public sector for evaluating the ROI for many programs, most recently as an evaluation of training programs and their contribution to overall growth of an existing business or organization.
