ABSTRACT

Now that we’ve completed the main techniques section, it’stime to turn our attention to how all these procedures can be made to work together most efficiently in a production environment. The last section of the book should hopefully have provided a thorough grounding in the various methods used to approach the many different tasks that a lighting artist can face. Now we’ll attempt to tie everything you’ve learnt together into some kind of cohesive whole, looking back over the general principles involved and attempting to impose some order on how you should organize your working methods.
