ABSTRACT

Several books advise the new generation of moviemakers usinglightweight, insubstantial digital camera equipment to strap several kilos worth of weights to their DV units in order to make their shots look more filmic. Similarly, in CG, our cameras can easily be moved around and though the agility of a camera in 3D has brought us some incredible camera moves, a little thought for the weight that a film camera’s bulk brings to a shot can certainly furnish a CG shot with a more cinematic feel.
