Common forms of flexible working

Flexitime allows employees to choose their working hours around a central ‘core’ time when all employees must be at work. Core time depends on when the organisation is busiest and is often between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Employees can then choose the other hours they work from the full span of the working day, which can be from 8am to 8pm.
