ABSTRACT

In this chapter the authors discuss some of the same basic principles, but they focus the people attention firmly on the color correction capabilities of Xpress Pro. To save a correction in the Color Bucket, Alt-click/Option-click on one of the Color Buckets and the correction in the Current Monitor will be saved to that bucket. In the Hue Offset subtab, using the Auto Correction buttons doesn't even require choosing specific pixels for analysis. The small group of buttons at the top right of the Color Correction tool is called-creatively enough-the Color Correction tool buttons. The big blob of color that starts out pointing towards the yellow target on the vectorscope will just rotate from one vector to another. Check out the color correction tutorial on the DVD for more discussions of common fixes that the people will face, along with some creative uses for color correction.
