DSR-250 Manual Settings

AGC: OFF If we leave Automatic Gain Control on, the camera’s electronics may help us out in low-light situations by boosting the signal to make it appear brighter. While this is often useful, it can introduce noise or artifacts to the signal, which can look “grainy.” Furthermore, if we’re setting the aperture manually to make a scene look deliberately dark (a day-for-night scene, for example) Automatic Gain Control will negate our efforts by trying to compensate.
